THE MINDING (2023-2024)

The name of the band was taken from a Scottish term ("Minding") that means to recall or bring something to mind, and that is just what their music does!  It will remind you of the great songs from music history and have you humming over and over the unique versions of existing tunes along with some original songs as well.   The band has been in existence since 2011,  but the current ensemble includes Susan Cox (lead vocals), Andy Amidon (guitar, lead/backing vocals), Chip McCullough (bass, lead/backing vocals), Barb Valente (keys, violin, backing vocals), and Troy Valente (drumset).  The Minding's music encompasses many genres including, but definitely not limited to, jazz standards, blues, R&B, rock-a-billy, Celtic, bluegrass, pop, rock, and even a little gospel.
